Philip Ardagh - December 2012
In December author Philip Ardagh was on tour, visiting pupils in the Dumfries and Galloway area. His tour took place in schools in the area between 2nd December and 7th December. Each day Philip wrote a blog about his tour (unfortunately the children kept him busy with so many questions by the end of the week he had no time to write any more), you can read his blog here.
Barry Hutchison - October 2012
In October author Barry Hutchison was on tour, visiting over 1500 children around the Greater Manchester area. His tour took place in schools and other venues in the area between 8th October and 12th October. On each day Barry wrote a blog about his tour, you can read his blog here. During September we saw Waterstones Children’s Laureate Julia Donaldson navigate her way through Scotland. Over 1100 children came face to face with the UK’s foremost picture book author. Julia's tour took place in libraries across Scotland between 10th September and 19th September. You can view a map of her tour here. Paul Collicutt - June 2012
Back in June, Paul Collicutt, author and illustrator of the award winning Robot City children’s comic books visited schools in West and East Dunbartonshire.
