He managed to tell 580 jokes in one hour while being cheered on by the locals of the Park Bar in Glasgow.

Starting at 8.30 pm, Donald joked for the best part of an hour and broke the record with even a few minutes to spare.

In the media frenzy that led up the the big event, Donald was featured on the BBC News, Five Live and Radio Scotland.

And this morning his triumph is featured in the pages of The Herald, the BBC News website and the The Evening Times to name a few.

Not to forget he has now raised over £4,000 for his charities.

Well done Donald!
