We’d all like to have more money and from £10 a month or a £100 lump sum, you could be better off in the future. You don’t need to break the bank - by investing a little each month, in five to ten years’ time you could have a lump sum of money to do with as you please.
You’ve also got complete control. You can choose to stop payments for a while if the need arises and then restart them again at a time to suit you. You can also raise or lower your premiums when your pocket allows. And for those unforeseen circumstances, you can withdraw your cash at any time.
You can register for My Plans, our online system, which allows you to manage your Scottish Friendly ISA at a time that suits you. It's mobile friendly too allowing you to always be in control, wherever you have internet access.
Tax treatment depends on individual circumstances which may change in the future. Stock market investments can go down as well as up and you could get back less than you have paid in.
Once you’re in a regular investment habit, you might want to try to invest a little more each year to take inflation into account or simply because you’d like to reach your goal that little bit sooner. Another feature of our My UK Tracker Choice (ISA) is the option to automatically increase your payments each year by a rate to suit you. You have the choice to increase by 2.5%, 5% or 10% each year, for as long as you wish.
In order to check what your monthly premiums would be each year for the first 10 years, by applying a yearly increase rate, check out our handy tool below:
Remember your monthly premium will continue to increase past year 10, however you have the ability to change or stop your payment increase at any time.
