Our history

Scottish Friendly Assurance has roots stretching back to 1862. Established as the City of Glasgow Friendly Society our name changed in October 1992 when we purchased a Scottish-based friendly society called Scottish Friendly Assurance. It accounts for over 500,000 policyholders and has assets under management of over £800 million as at December 2007.

We are based in Glasgow and our staff is dedicated to providing the best in customer service.
