Terms & conditions

  • We will donate £10 for each qualifying investment in a My ISA or My Junior ISA to the Mental Health Foundation (the “Promotion”).
  • These are the terms and conditions on which our Promotion shall be governed. Please read these terms and conditions carefully.
  • We are Scottish Friendly Assurance Ltd a registered society in Scotland. Our company registration number is SP00034F and our registered office is at Scottish Friendly House, 16 Blythswood Square, Glasgow, G2 4HJ.
  • Anyone who is a UK resident aged 18 or over, and applies for a new Scottish Friendly My ISA or My Junior ISA or adds a new pot to an existing Scottish Friendly My ISA or My Junior ISA (excluding Scottish Bond, Scottish Bond Plus, Child Bond, top-ups to existing My ISA or My JISA policies and products offered through the following partnerships: Forces Mutual, Benefits 2 U, SunLife, and Standard Life, and employees of Scottish Friendly Assurance (the “Donor”)) between 00:01, 1st December 2020 and 23:59, 31st December 2020 will be counted towards a £10 contribution that Scottish Friendly shall make to the charity detailed below.
  • Scottish Friendly’s chosen charity is The Mental Health Foundation whose registered office is at Colechurch House, 1 London Bridge Walk, London, SE1 2SX with registered Charity No. England and Wales 801130 and Scotland SC 039714.
  • Applications that are received outwith the dates of 1st December to 31st December 2020 shall not be included in the overall count.
  • Neither the Donor nor the chosen charity will be responsible for any application not received for any reason whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.
  • The amount of the donations made in connection with the sale of new Scottish Friendly My ISA or My Junior ISA or new pots in a Scottish Friendly My ISA or My Junior ISA to The Mental Health Foundation is anticipated to be somewhere in the region of £10,000.All internet connection charges shall be the customer’s responsibility. Responsibility cannot be accepted for applications invalidated by technical problems beyond the control of Scottish Friendly Assurance or problems with accessing the website.
  • At the Donor’s discretion, another registered charity may be substituted if, in all reasonable circumstances, the Donor is unable to fulfil the donation.
  • The Donor reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Promotion in the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside of its control.

  • Gift aid is not applicable as it will be a corporate donation not an individual donation.

  • These terms are governed by Scots law. Each party irrevocably agrees that the Scottish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with these terms or its subject matter or formation.
