Hello! It’s me Bob Friendly, and I’m back with some stats and a chat about lastweekend’s exciting Premier League results! In particular, which Premier League goalkeeper has been superb between the sticks and made the most saves!

To reward this brave shot-stopper we are going to crown them our #SuperSaver of the Week and let them know how terrific they have been for their club.

The winner of the #Supersaver of the Week award goes to Tom Heaton from Burnley! Well done to you, you’ve performed brilliantly this week. The game between Arsenal and Burnley looked very one-sided as Burnley had 18 shots on target against them.

Amazingly, Tom Heaton only conceded one, that’s 17 shots stopped! Ninja-like reactions if you ask me.

As a savings and investment provider, Scottish Friendly is keen on the performance of football’s best savers. The hard work keepers put into saving under great pressure can be held up as an example to us all.

So far, it’s Petr Cech who holds the most clean-sheets this season, with a massive three out of seven games without conceding. Now that’s impressive! We’ll be sending you a report like this every week, with our best #SuperSaver just like we did this week with Tom Heaton.

We’re also running an epic amateur goalkeeper competition to find the UK’s top #SuperSaver from non-league, school and community teams. So if you want to win £250 worth of football gear for you or a goalkeeper you know, check it out here.
