Action for Children

Since 2023, Scottish Friendly has proudly partnered with Action for Children, who deliver a Wellbeing Programme that equips young people with tools that can help support their mental health and emotional wellbeing. The programme currently visits secondary schools in our local community.

Supporting Young Minds in Glasgow

Our funding has enabled Action for Children to recruit two part-time Wellbeing Practitioners who work directly with young people in secondary schools and ensure support reaches those who need it most.

The Scottish Friendly Wellbeing Programme has already visited the following schools:

  • Lochend High School

  • Govan High School

  • St Margaret Mary’s Secondary School

  • St Roch’s Secondary School

  • Drumchapel High School
